Division: Maintenance

Reporting to: Senior Electrician

Responsible for: None

Purpose of the job

To maintain electrical equipment

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Carrying out domestic installation and maintenance
  2. Carrying out industrial installation and maintenance
  3. Inspecting electrical equipment or plants for purposes of identifying and repairing faults
  4. Testing electrical equipment
  5. Preparing various reports
  6. Adhering to quality and safety standards in the handling and utilisation of equipment
  7. Demonstrating outstanding commitment to service delivery programmes of the Board by personally identifying and reporting water bursts/leakages to the customer care division, of which verifiable repair records shall be tendered to be used as one of the components for assessment during one’s performance appraisal time

Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of Grade 1 National Trade Test or TEVETA level 3 plus MSCE.
